1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message for the week by Father Jonathan:
Regarding the opening of church: a dialogue between 2 people H and D:
H: I’m very excited the church will be reopening again this Monday after more than 3 months. I miss the smell of the incense and extremely miss the body and blood of God.
D: Yes, me too. But we have to book to attend and we have to abide by many rules.
H: But that’s okay. We have to look after the health of our brothers and sisters and all, and to respect the law of the authorities as St Paul teaches us in (Ti 3:1) “(1) Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, (2) to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone”.
D: I have a smart plan to attend the church whenever I want. Once the ‘Eventbrite’ booking program is opened by the church I’ll book as many spots as possible and if I have to, I’ll use different names. It is easy to trick them.
H: God loves smart people, but not this level of smartness. You would take the spot of one of your brothers or sisters. I guess you have to think twice before you apply this ‘smart’ way. More sweet to apply what Jesus taught us as Christians,” love your neighbour as yourself”.

Church Reopening
1. We look forward to welcoming you back to church on Monday October 11th , 2021.
2. We encourage the congregation to follow the NSW Government guidelines regarding vaccination for the safety of everyone. This includes, at this stage, not attending church services until you have received both doses of your COVID-19 vaccine (if eligible). Please bring proof of your double vaccination.
3. We remind the congregation to also follow usual precautions (including checking in, not attending if unwell, social distancing, hand hygiene, wearing masks etc). It is strongly recommended that we greet the priests and other members of the congregation from a distance.
4. The schedule for masses, starting Monday October 11th, is below. Please note that weekday masses will not require bookings and the church will be closed once it reaches capacity. Weekend masses will require bookings and further detail on how and where to book will be communicated on this Tuesday 12th October. A phone number will also be provided for you to contact if you need assistance with booking. Please note that the scouts will also be available to assist and we ask that you cooperate with them.
5. To allow others to attend church, we appreciate it if you can attend only 1 service in the first two weeks after reopening and to leave weekends liturgies for members of the congregation who can’t make it during the week.
6. Only liturgy services will start on 11th October. We will inform you when Sunday School and other services will commence, based on directions from the diocese.
7. Please leave the church premises immediately after the mass.

6. YFC Event
Your Coptic Family (YCF) is a group that’s mission and focus is to serve Coptic families.
Under the current challenges we are facing, the blessing of technology has enabled us the opportunity to organise a Zoom experience with H.E. Archbishop Angaelos, Bishop and Papal Legate of London and Sydney.
H.E. is not only highly respected here in his home city, Sydney, but also on the international stage.
EVERY HARDSHIP HAS AN END, is the topic that H.E, will address, that couldn’t be more well timed, as we come out of lockdown. The lack of hope sometimes prevents us from seeing through the darkness that we may find ourselves in as parents and spouses.

أ: أنا فرحان جدًا لإعادة فتح الكنيسة مرة أخرى يوم الاثنين بعد أكثر من 3 أشهر. افتقد رائحة البخور وافتقد بشدة جسد ودم السيد المسيح.
غ: نعم، وأنا أيضًا. لكن علينا الحجز للحضور وعلينا الالتزام بالعديد من القواعد.
أ: لكن هذا أمر جيد. علينا أن نعتني بصحة إخوتنا وأخواتنا والجميع وأن نحترم قانون السلطات كما يعلمنا القديس بولس في (تيطس ٣:١) ذكرهم أن يخضعوا للرئاسات والسلاطين ويطيعوا ويكونوا مستعدين لكل عمل صالح ولا يطعنوا في أحد ويكونوا غير مخاصمين حلماء مظهرين كل وداعة لجميع الناس
غ: لدي خطة ذكية لحضور الكنيسة متى أردت. بمجرد أن تفتح الكنيسة برنامج الحجز "Eventbrite"، سأحجز أكبر عدد ممكن من الأماكن، وإذا اضطررت لذلك، سأستخدم أسماء مختلفة. فمن السهل خداعهم.
أ: أنا متأكد من أن الله لا يحب هذا النوع من الذكاء. تأخذ مكان أحد إخوتك أو أخواتك. أعتقد أنه عليك التفكير مرتين قبل تطبيق هذه الطريقة "الذكية". أجمل أن نطبق ما علمنا إياه يسوع كمسيحيين، "تحب قريبك كنفسك".

٥.إعادة فتح أبوب الكنيسة: الاثنين ١١ أكتوبر

إعادة فتح أبواب الكنيسة
١. نتطلع إلى استقبالكم مرة أخرى في الكنيسة يوم الاثنين 11 أكتوبر 2021.
٢. نشجع شعب الكنيسة على اتباع إرشادات حكومة نيو ساوث ويلز بشأن التطعيم من أجل سلامة الجميع.
ويتضمن ذلك، في هذه المرحلة، عدم السماح بحضور الخدمات الكنسية إلا بعد تلقى جرعتين من لقاح COVID-19 (إذا كنت مؤهلاً لذلك). من فضلك احضر ما يثبت تطعيمك الجرعتين
٣. نذكر شعب الكنيسة بأن يتبعوا أيضًا الاحتياطات المعتادة (ويشمل ذلك تسجيل الوصول، وعدم الحضور إذا كنت مريضًا، والتباعد الاجتماعي، ونظافة اليدين، وارتداء الأقنعة، إلخ). يوصى بشدة أن نسلم على الكهنة وعلى بعضنا البعض من بعيد.
٤. الجدول الزمني للقداسات مذكور أدناه، وسيبدأ يوم الاثنين 11 أكتوبر. يُرجى الملاحظة بأن قداسات أيام الأسبوع لن تتطلب حجز مسبق لها لكن سيتم إغلاق أبواب الكنيسة بمجرد الوصول إلى طاقتها الاستيعابية. ستتطلب قداسات السبت والأحد الحجز المسبق لها، وسيتم الإعلان عن مزيدٍ من التفاصيل عن كيفية الحجز يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ١٢ اكتوبر.
سيتم أيضًا توفير رقم هاتف للاتصال به إذا كنت بحاجة إلى مساعدة في الحجز. يُرجى الملاحظة أن خدام الكشافة سيقدمون لك المساعدة ونطلب منك التعاون معهم.
٥.من أجل السماح للآخرين بحضور الكنيسة، نقدر لك إذا كان بإمكانك حضور خدمة واحدة فقط في الأسبوعين الأولين بعد إعادة فتح أبواب الكنيسة وترك قداسات السبت والأحد لأفراد الشعب الذين لا يستطيعون الحضور خلال الأسبوع.
٦. ستبدأ فقط خدمات القداسات في ١١ أكتوبر. سنخبركم بموعد بدء مدارس الأحد والخدمات الأخرى، بناءً على توجيهات الأبارشية.
٧. برجاء مغادرة الكنيسة (و ايضا حوش الكنيسة) بمجرد انتهاء القداس الالهى.

٦.حدث "عائلتك القبطية" (YCF)
عائلتك القبطية هي مجموعة رسالتها وتركيزها هي خدمة العائلات القبطية.
تحت التحديات الحالية التي نواجهها، بركة التكنولوجيا مكنتنا من فرصة تنسيق خبرة عبر زووم مع نيافة المطران الأنبا انجيلوس، أسقف والمندوب البابوي عن لندن وسيدني.
نيافة أنبا انجيلوس ليس مكرم فقط في بلده سيدني ولكن على المستوى العالمي أيضاً.
لكل ضيقة نهاية، عنوان الموضوع الذي سيناقشه معنا نيافة انبا انجيلوس، والذي يتزامن بدقة ونحن على أبواب الخروج من الإغلاق. أحياناً يمنعنا عدم الرجاء من الرؤية في الظلام الذي قد نجد أنفسنا نمر به كوالدين أو كزوج/ زوجة.
