1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message of the week by Father Michael:
During the 50 Holy days of the resurrection, Our heavenly Father wants to give us the greatest gift of all, that is part of Him – Love.
He knows that love gives us joy and happiness. That is why He brought it to us through Jesus Christ. We win the heart of God and people with love. For people can not resist love for ever. For if we love, we have peace in our inmost being, even when people are hostile towards us. Love can endure all things. It can be patient and even good to its enemy.
With self-denial love, we will be able to obtain the fruits of the Holy Spirit. "Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control ". Galatians 5:22-23
2. St Mark Festival – First Street Festival for St Mark!
Please join us and invite your friends to celebrate with us, in our first St Mark Street Festival at 5 – 9pm on 6 and 7 May.

3. Vesper for Feast of St Mark – this Sunday 7 May at 7pm
Attended by Fr. Daoud Lamei, we will have Vesper, celebration, procession and talks.
4. Low Sensory Liturgy – this Saturday 6 May at 9am
For children and their families who would benefit from a quieter liturgy.

5. Meet and Greet For Year 7 and 8 Girls only Parents – this Sunday 7 May
Dear St Mark Families,
We’re delighted to be back this year with our Sunday school parents meet and greet where you get the opportunity to meet parents from your children’s Sunday school class.
Join us this Sunday the 7th of May for the year 7 & 8 Girls only parents Meet and Greet in the Arabic Church at 11.00 am.

6. St Mark’s Coptic Mastermind competition
St Mark’s church will be holding a Coptic Mastermind competition for year 5 & 6 girls and boys this year which will be held on 13th August 2023. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to study the Bible in depth and grow their love for The Word of God. In preparation for the competition, the kids will be grouped into teams of 4 and will be coached over the course of 7 weeks. Hurry! خلال أيام الخمسين المقدسة بعد القيامة، يريد أبونا السماوي أن يمنحنا أعظم هدية في الوجود، جزء منه – الا وهو المحبة.
إنه يعلم أن المحبة تمنحنا الفرح والسعادة. لهذا أحضر لنا المحبة من خلال شخص السيد المسيح. اننا نربح قلب الله والناس بالمحبة. لن يستطيع الناس مقاومة المحبة إلى الأبد. إذا أحببنا، تمتعنا بسلام في أعماقنا، حتى وأن ظل الناس معاديين لنا. يمكن للمحبة أن تحتمل كل شيء. المحبة تتأنى وترفق بعدوها.

بحضور قدس ابونا داوود لمعي، سيتضمن الاحتفال العشية والزفة والكلمة
٤.قداس ذو مدركات حسية منخفضة – غداً السبت الموافق ٦ مايو
للأطفال وعائلاتهم للاستفادة من قداس هادئ.

تقيم كنيسة القديس مار مرقس هذا العام مسابقة "ماستر مايند" القبطية للصفين الخامس والسادس من البنات والأولاد. وستعقد في ١٣ أغسطس ٢٠٢٣. هذه فرصة ممتازة ليدرس أطفالكم الكتاب المقدس بعمق ولتنمو محبتهم لكلمة الله. استعدادًا للمسابقة، سيتم وضع الأطفال في فرق مكونة من ٤ أشخاص وسيتم تدريبهم على مدار٧ أسابيع. أسرع بالتسجيل هنا على: https://forms.gle/BgkBrmqX7ExSQCEb6
