27/08/1943 – 22/11/2023
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Our beloved matriarch peacefully departed to Heaven into the arms of our Lord in the early hours of Tuesday the 22nd of November 2023.
Alisabat was the wife of Farouk Meawad, mother of Joseph, John, Mary, James, George Meawad and Demiana Gerges. Mother in law to Ehab Gerges and Jackie, Maggie and Kim Meawad.
Grandmother to Emmanuel, Anastasia, Jeremiah, Angelina, Elariah, Steven, David, Amelia, Zachariah, Ava Meawad, Emily, Jacob and Gabriel Gerges.
A vespers and condolences service will be held tonight, Thursday the 23rd of November 2023 at 7:30pm at St Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church, 72 Wollongong Rd, Arncliffe NSW 2205.
The funeral will be held at St Mary and St Minas Coptic Orthodox Church 339 Forest Rd, Bexley NSW 2207 tomorrow Friday the 24th of November at 1pm.
