Contemplation (verse 21)
Let us therefore not be anxious to amass money and bequeath it to our children; rather, let us teach them virtue and call down blessing from God on them. This, you see, this is the greatest wealth; this wealth is beyond counting, proof against consumption, leading to greater wealth as each day passes. Nothing in fact is equal to virtue; nothing more potent than it.
+ St John Chrysostom

Personal Reflection
How do you view wealth and success in your life? Do you focus more on material things or on growing in virtue?

Bible Knowledge Question
In Genesis 48, Jacob blesses the two sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh. Which son does Jacob place his right hand on, symbolizing the greater blessing, and why is this significant?

Prayer
Lord, just as you blessed Ephiram and Manasseh, bless us with your wisdom and guidance. Help us to recognise your will in our lives, even when it goes against our expectations. May we always seek your blessing and walk in your ways, trusting in your perfect plan. Amen
