Isaiah the Prophet

Claim to fame: 8^th Century Israelite Prophet who foretold the coming of Christ and His crucifixion.

Quote: But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. (Is 40:31)

Fun fact: Isaiah means “God saves” which is also, ironically, the major theme of his book
