My Lord, do I deserve a fresh new year? To live and glorify Your name. To banish weakness, worry, doubt and fear. To enjoy Christian love and freedom from sin. I appreciate your advice in Isaiah 43 when You promised:

“Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See I am doing NEW things! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
