Contemplation (verse 12)
Paul, however, censures Peter for not walking straightforwardly according to the truth of the gospel. No doubt he blames him; but it was solely because of his inconsistency in the matter of “eating” which he varied according to the sort of persons (whom he associated with) “fearing them which were of the circumcision”
+ Tertullian of Carthage

Personal Reflection
How often do we worry about what others around us are thinking and doing that we change our beliefs or actions to please others?

Bible Knowledge Question
Which other apostle is St Paul rebuking in this chapter? And Why?

Prayer
Dear Lord, we know what Your word and teachings are, however, sometimes we steer away from that to appease others around us. Help us to stand strong in our faith in You regardless of what is changing around us
