At the time of: The Galatians by race were Celts who had settled in the center of Asia Minor during the third century B.C
Main Focus: To correct their teachings that diverted from the Gospel of Christ. The true gospel versus the false gospel. After initially believing in the gospel of Jesus Christ as a gift of God, many in Galatia had turned to the teaching of the Jewish legalizers, who claimed that Christians must also follow the laws of the Old Covenant. Paul writes to call them back to “the grace of Christ” (1:6)
