St Mark’s Welcomes Bayside Council’s Mayor Ed McDougall
On Sunday 16 February 2025, the Parish Council had the pleasure of welcoming Mayor Ed McDougall to St Mark’s Church in his capacity as Bayside Council Mayor and Chief of Staff to Steve Kamper MP.
It was a fruitful and encouraging visit, during which Mayor McDougall praised our parish for its unwavering commitment to serving the community, particularly our youth and young families. He recognised St Mark’s as the largest church community within Bayside Council and affirmed Council’s support.
As part of his visit, the Mayor made commitments regarding traffic management, parking improvements, and funding for a small church project. He also commended the high standard of our recently completed carpark project, acknowledging its positive impact on the streetscape.
We are grateful for this visit and look forward to continued collaboration with Bayside Council to further enhance our parish and its services.
