3. St Mark’s Vacation Centre
Enrollment is open for Holiday period 25 Sept – 6 October. Book at the Vacation Care Office: 11am – 12pm.
4. New Shuttle Bus Service – starting 17 September
A new St Mark shuttle bus starts from 17th of September, will be picking up the congregation from the bus stop Infront of Wolli Creek station, as per below photo, every Sunday at the following times:
8:00; 8:20; 8:40 and 9:00am
The bus will then pick up the congregation from the bus stop Infront of Arncliffe station, as per below photo, every Sunday at the following times:
8:05; 8:25; 8:45 and 9:05am.
Returns will run every hour from the car park next to the English church at the following times: 11am; 12pm and 1pm.
5. Street Food Festival 2023 – Saturday 9 September
We would love for all families and youth to join us on this special night to celebrate St Mary and the Coptic New Year. We will start the night with a procession at 5pm sharp with fellow Christian Churches, followed by kids and parent entertainment, food and merchant stalls, a live Christian band and more. Please see poster below.
6. Rockdale Raiders – Congratulations!
What a fantastic season it’s been! last weekend the curtains came down on another successful season for Our teams representing Rockdale Raiders.
Congratulations to the AAH & O35D for winning their division and all the winners across all divisions and age groups, all the teams made it to the finals this season,
Well done to all players and coaches who competed throughout the 2023 season, each week you turned up and gave it everything in a fantastic sportsmanship and Christian way so thank you.
Lastly, a big thank you to all the fathers, servants and of course the family and friends for all coming out and supporting the games each week.⚽️
7. St Mark’s Families Camp Update
Thank you all for booking the St Mark Families Camp from the 1st – 3rd of Dec. We’re so excited to add more rooms so that more families can join us. Please book for a blessed weekend away where we can all gather and grow together in Christ. The agenda includes several spiritual talks by our church Fathers, interactive workshops that will be delivered by subject matter experts and a jam packed weekend of activities for the kids. The cabins include linen, an equipped kitchen with a ceiling fan, aircon, microwave & a fridge for more convenience. We will also have a pop-up desk in front of the Church hall on Sunday the 27th of August after the Holy Liturgy to share more about what to expect and answer your questions. 9. Urgent Winter Clothing AppealCoptic Orthodox Community Outreach Service
Unlike many benevolent projects, this one does not require any money… just a donation of excess items you have at home. Especially in Winter, people experiencing homelessness need your help. The clothing, shoes or blankets you donate do not have to be new, just in good condition. Just put these items in a bag and place it in the COCOS clothing charity bin located at Saint Mark’s Church (just down the steps of the English Church car park and to the right). If we all could spare a few items, it would make an enormous difference.
Much needed items of clothing for men include:
+ Jeans (sizes 30 to 40)
+ Shirts (especially t-shirts)
+ Casual jackets
+ Tracksuits
+ Sports and casual shoes (sizes 8 – 13)
+ Singlets
+ Shorts
+ Underwear (new)

٤. خدمة النقل بالاتوبيس من وإلى محطة القطار- تبدأ يوم 17 سبتمبر
تبدأ يوم 17 سبتمبر خدمة جديدة لأتوبيسات سانت مارك، ستقوم بالتقاط الأفراد من أمام محطة الأتوبيس بمحطة قطار “ولاي كريك” كما موضح في الصورة أدناه، كل أحد في الأوقات التالية:
8:00؛8:20؛8:40؛9:00 صباحاً
ثم سيلتقط الأتوبيس الأفراد من أمام محطة الأتوبيس بمحطة قطارأرنكليف كما هو موضح في الصورة أدناه، في الأوقات التالية:

٥. مهرجان ستريت فود لعام 2023 – السبت 9 سبتمبر
نود أن تنضم إلينا كل العائلات والشباب في هذه الأمسية الخاصة للاحتفال بالسيدة العذراء والسنة القبطية الجديدة. سنبدء الأمسية بزفة (موكب) في تمام الساعة 5 عصراً مع الكنائس المسيحية الأخرى ثم يتبعها انشطة ترفيهية للأطفال وأولياء الأمور، أكشاك الطعام والمنتجات، فرقة مسيحية والمزيد. برجاء الاطلاع على البوستر المرفق.

لقد تمتعنا بموسم رائع هذا العام! حيث حققت فرقنا التي تمثل روكدال ريدرز نجاح باهر الأسبوع الماضي
نهنئ كل من الفرق الفائزة فريق كل الأعمارH وفريق فوق 35 عاماً وكل الفائزين في كل الأقسام والمراحل العمرية وكل الفرق التي وصلت إلى الدور النهائي هذا الموسم.

بخلاف أي مشاريع خيرية، هذا المشروع لا يطلب أي نقود. بل يطلب التبرع بما هو فائض في بيتك.
وخصوصاً مع حلول فصل الشتاء، تحتاج الناس الذين بلا مؤوى إلى مساعدتك. لا يجب أن تكون الملابس أو الأحذية أو البطانيات التي تتبرع بها جديدة، فقط في حالة جيدة. ما عليك سوى وضع هذه العناصر في حقيبة ووضعها في صندوق الملابس الخيرية COCOS الموجود في كنيسة القديس مرقس (أسفل درجات موقف سيارات الكنيسة الإنجليزية وإلى اليمين). إذا تمكنا جميعًا من توفير بعض البنود، فسنحدث فرقًا هائلاً.
