2. Lion’s Den Men’s Sunset Bowls – tomorrow Saturday 16 September

3. New Shuttle Bus Service – starting this Sunday 17 September
A new St Mark shuttle bus starts from 17th of September, will be picking up the congregation from the bus stop Infront of Wolli Creek station, as per below photo, every Sunday at the following times:
8:00; 8:20; 8:40 and 9:00am
The bus will then pick up the congregation from the bus stop Infront of Arncliffe station, as per below photo, every Sunday at the following times:
8:05; 8:25; 8:45 and 9:05am.
Returns will run every hour from the car park next to the English church at the following times: 11am; 12pm and 1pm
4. Careers Expo – This Sunday 17th September for Years 10-12 boys and girls and their parents.
Kick off Meeting in English church at 10:45am followed by career booths in the hall across a number of different professions.
5. Scriptwriting 101 – for teenagers and youth – this Sunday 17 September
Learn the basics of writing a script from scratch. For teenagers and youth, come ready to enjoy the process of writing for school assignments and pleasure. Skits can range from 6 pages to 60. You decide!
Last session, James (7) and Rachel (9) produced a Christmas skit that will be performed at the end of the year at St Mark’s and 3 other churches. The Family Present (skit) auditions will take place soon.
6. Church Rules for Engagements and Weddings:
1. All weddings and engagements need to be booked with Nancy Assad (Mob: 0414 661 031). Bookings will only be confirmed once payment has been received by Nancy.
2. Once the wedding date is booked the marriage course with Fr Morris needs to be completed by the couple.
3. Once the wedding is confirmed, please contact Fr Augustinos or Fr Mark to organise the government paperwork and Coptic church paperwork, this needs to be completed 6 weeks prior to wedding. If not completed, weddings will not be conducted.
Ceremony Rules:
– No rice or confetti to be thrown inside or outside the church. No fresh flowers to be thrown on the carpet inside the church.
– All decorations and flowers must be removed after the ceremony on the same day.
– No pins of floral on the aisle, just wrapped.
– Church needs to be returned back to its original setup after the wedding – this needs to be organised by bridal party.
– For the bridal party, please be on time as there are sometimes second weddings.
7. School of Academic Excellence – Expression of Interest for Years 9 and 10 Tutoring
St Mark’s is considering offering tutoring to years 9 and 10 in Maths and UCAT.
Lessons to be held Fridays from 7:30 – 8:30pm.

٣.خدمة التنقل بالاتوبيس من وإلى محطة القطار- تبدأ يوم 17 سبتمبر
تبدأ يوم 17 سبتمبر خدمة جديدة لأتوبيسات سانت مارك، ستقوم بالتقاط الأفراد من أمام محطة الأتوبيس بمحطة قطار "ولاي كريك" كما موضح في الصورة أدناه، كل أحد في الأوقات التالية:
8:00؛8:20؛8:40؛9:00 صباحاً
ثم سيلتقط الأتوبيس الأفراد من أمام محطة الأتوبيس بمحطة قطارأرنكليف كما هو موضح في الصورة أدناه، في الأوقات التالية:
8:05؛ 8:25؛ 8:45؛ 9:05 صباحاً
سيتم تنظيم العودة إلى محطة القطار كل ساعة من مكان وقوف السيارات الخلفي عند الكنيسة الإنجليزي في الأوقات التالية: 11 صباحاً؛ 12 ظهراً؛ 1 ظهراً
٤.عرض للمهن – الأحد القادم الموافق 17 سبتمبر للبنات والأولاد في الصفوف 10 إلى 12 وأولياء أمورهم
سيُدار الاجتماع في الكنيسة الإنجليزي الساعة 10:45 ثم يعقبه إقامة أكشاك في القاعة عن عدد من المهن المختلفة.
٥.كتابة السيناريو 101 – للمراهقين والشباب – الأحد 17 سبتمبر
تعلم أساسيات كتابة السيناريو من الصفر. للمراهقين والشباب، تعال واستمتع بطريقة كتابة الواجبات المدرسية أو الكتابة للترفيه. يتراوح النص ما بين 6 – 60 ورقة. أنت صاحب القرار!
في الجلسة الماضية، قام جيمز (7) وراشيل (9) بكتابة مسرحية للكريسماس سيتم عرضها في نهاية العام في كنيسة سانت مارك وثلاثة كنائس أخرى. سيتم قريباً اختيار ممثلي مسرحية "فاميلي برزنت"
٦.قواعد الكنيسة الخاصة بمراسم الخطوبة والاكليل
1. يجب أن يتم حجز كل الأفراح والخطوبات مع نانسي أسعد ( 031 661 0414).
سيتم التأكيد على الحجز فقط عندما تستلم نانسي المبلغ المطلوب.
2. بمجرد حجز موعد الأكليل، يجب أن يقوم الطرفين بالانتهاء من كورس الزواج مع أبونا موريس
3. بمجرد التأكيد على موعد الاكليل، برجاء الاتصال بأبونا اغوسطينوس أو أبونا مارك لإعداد الأوراق الحكومية وأوراق الكنيسة القبطية التي يجب تعبئتها قبل الأكليل ب6 أسابيع. إذا لم يتم تعبئتها، لا يمكن اتمام الاكليل.
قواعد الاحتفال في الكنيسة:
+ممنوع القاء الأرز وقصاصات الورق داخل أو خارج الكنيسة، ممنوع القاء الورود على السجاد داخل الكنيسة.
+يجب إزالة كل الديكورات والورود بعد المراسم في نفس اليوم.
+ممنوع استخدام الدبابيس لتثبيت الورود في الممر، بل يتم تثبيتها باللف فقط.
+يجب إعادة الكنيسة بعد مراسم الزفاف إلى وضعها الأصلي – يقوم بذلك القائمين على تنسيق الكنيسة
+على اصدقاء العريس الالتزام بالمواعيد، لأن أحياناً يكون هناك زفاف آخر.
٧.مدرسة اكاديميك اكسلنس – تعبير عن الرغبة لتدريس الصفين 9 و10
تفكر كنيسة سانت مارك في تقديم دروس للصفين 9 و10 في الرياضيات و UCAT.
ستقام الدروس أيام الجمعة من 7:30 – 8:30 مساءً
