1.Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message of the week by Father Anthony:
Practical wisdom from Pope Shenouda III, that can help us in our day to day lives at home, church and in society
1. “Try and reach the heart of the one you speak with, before, you reach his mind.”
2. “Praise others and make them aware of your appreciation. Make them feel that you know their good deeds and admire them.”
3. “If you want your words to have their full effect, choose the appropriate time to say them…The important thing to keep before you is that you say your word when it finds an ear ready to listen.”
4. “Respect others and treat everyone politely, not only the elders or those you are obliged to regard, but also the young and those who are younger and lower in grade than you. ”
5. "If you have nothing to give people, give them a warm smile and a kind word, give them love, give them tenderness, give them a word of encouragement; give them your heart"
6. “He who deals with people according to his own mentality, without taking into consideration their own mentality and way of thinking, is not practical.”
7. “A meek person deals simply with everyone and never argues much or acts stubbornly.”
8. “The world sees in our conduct, in our behaviour, the proof that we are the real children of God.”
9. “If you are faithful in not judging others by words, God will enable you not to judge by thoughts, which is more difficult.”

2. Request for Servants
The Church needs more servants particularly:
+ Friday nights to help with high school, scouts and tutoring
+ Sunday in the food services
+ youth to help with social media

Primary and Secondary Tutoring:
St Marks Church ‘School of Academic Excellence’ is available every Friday night from 6:30pm to 7:30pm covering literacy, maths and General ability. There are primary and secondary classes available. Classes will be recommencing Friday 16th February. Please register your interest via the google form.

4. St Mark’s Cleaning Day – Saturday 17 February
The Cleaning Day is coming up – Saturday February 17th at 1pm-5pm. We need as many hands to help clean our beloved Church. Even an hour can make the biggest difference.

حكم روحية من قداسة بالبابا شنودة الثالث تساعدنا في حياتنا اليومية في البيت والكنيسة ووسط المجتمع
1حاول أن تصل إلى قلب من تتكلم معه قبل أن تصل إلى عقله
2امدح الآخرين واجعلهم يشعرون بتقديرك لهم وبدرايتك بأعمالهم الحسنة واظهر إعجابك بها.
3إذا كنت تريد لكلماتك أن يكون لها تأثير، اختار الوقت المناسب لتقولها… أهم ما تضعه أمامك هو أن تقول كلامك عندما تجد الأذن المستعدة للانصات
4احترم الآخرين وعامل كل فرد بأدب، ليس فقط كبار السن أو هؤلاء الذين انت مجبر على احترامهم بل أيضاً الأصغر منك والأقل مكانة عنك .
5إذا لم يكن لديك ما تقدمه للناس، اعطهم ابتسامة دافئة وكلمة طيبة، اعطهم محبة، أعطهم عطف أعطهم كلمة تشجيع، اعطهم قلبك.
6الذي يتعامل مع الناس حسب عقليته هو دون أن يضع في اعتباره عقليتهم وطريقة تفكيرهم فهو شخص غير عملي.
7الانسان المتواضع يتعامل مع الآخرين ببساطة فلا يجادل ولا يتصرف بعناد
8العالم يرى في تصرفاتنا واخلاقنا الدليل على بنوتنا لله
9إذا كنت أميناً في عدم إدانة الآخرين بالكلام سيساعدك الله في عدم إدانتهم بفكرك وهو الأمر الأكثر صعوبة
10كن حازماً مع نفسك، راسخاً في إيمانك ولن يزعزعك أي شيء من الخارج.
٢.مطلوب خدام
تحتاج الكنيسة إلى مزيد من الخدام في الخدمات التالية:
+مساء الجمعة لمساعدة في الكشافة والتدريس للصفوف الإعدادية والثانوية
+يوم الأحد في خدمات الطعام
+شباب للمساعدةفي وسائل التواصل

٣.مدرسة اكادميك اكسلنس
تدريس مادة الرياضيات للصفوف الإعدادية والثانوية
دروس للصوف الإبتدائية والإعدادية والثانوية
تدار مدرسة سانت مارك "اكاديميك اكسلنس" مساء كل جمعة من 6:30 – 7:30 مساءً وتقوم بتغطية مواد مثل والرياضيات والقدرات العامة. توجد دروس للماحل الإبتدائية والإعدادية والثانوية. تستأنف الدروس يوم الجمعة 16 فبراير. يرجى الاطلاع على البوستر للحصول على مزيد من المعلومات وتسجيل رغبتك في الالتحاق على استمارة جوجل المرفقة.

٤.موعد تنظيف الكنيسة – السبت17فبراير
قد اقترب موعد تنظيف الكنيسة – السبت القادم الموافق 17فبراير. من 1-5 عصراً.
نحتاج إلى أيادي كثيرة للمساعدة في تنظيف كنيستنا الحبيبة. حتى لو لساعة واحدة ستحدث فرق كبير.
