The Holy Spirit

 

Once a good man was given a mission in one of the remote cities. For this mission, the officials gave him a very efficient car equipped with the greatest navigator ever to guide him in all his ways.

This good man forgot that the car is equipped with that great navigator who will guide him and facilitate his drive, and the turns of the roads.

He started to ask the people of the city about the way, but those people were not honourable. They claimed that they know everything, and they are wise while in fact they only cared about themselves. They continued to give him instructions, they distracted him from his goal which he was supposed to achieve but for their misleading instructions.

The man forgot that his car has The Greatest Navigator.

 

Happy Feast of the Holy Spirit (The Navigator).

 

Do not leave your home before calling on the Holy Spirit, pray Psalm 23. If you can, pray the 3^rd hour which is the hour of the descension of the Holy Spirit.

If you cannot do this throughout the whole year, at least try during the Apostle’s Fast.

2. Pentecost Sunday – 23 June

Liturgy and the Prostration ‘Sagda’ Prayer times are as follows:
Early Liturgy: 5:30 – 8am
Arabic Liturgy: 8:15 – 10:45am
English Liturgy: 8:15 – 10:45am

 

Sunday School:

Sunday School classes session #1:  11:15am – 12:00pm (45 minutes class & pushed by 30 minutes)

Sunday School meetings session #2:  12:15pm -1:00pm (pushed by 15 minutes).

3. Apostles Fast

The Apostles Fast commences on Monday, June 24, 2024.

 

Beginning Wednesday, June 26, a special late liturgy will be held every Wednesday afternoon from 1-2:30pm throughout the duration of the Apostles Fast.

4.  Request from the Church Fathers

We have noticed instances of parishioners seeking financial assistance from fellow parishioners. If someone asks you for money, kindly direct them to one of the Church fathers instead of giving directly. We have a process in place to evaluate the legitimacy of requests and determine the appropriate level of support.

5. St Mark Health Initiative Camp

• Please refrain from parking on Broe Avenue to prevent traffic congestion.
• Respect your neighbours’ reserved parking spots by not moving their markers or parking in those designated areas.

الروح القدس

يُحكى أن انساناً جميلاً أعطيت له مهمة ما في أحد المدن البعيدة. لإتمام هذه المهمة، أعطى له المسئولين سيارة في غاية الكفاءة مزودة بجهاز ملاحة قوي جداً لإرشاده في كل طرقه.

نسى هذا الإنسان الجميل حقيقة ان السيارة مزودة بجهاز الملاحة العظيم هذا الذي سيقوده ويسهل له كل طرقه وتحركاته وملفات الطريق.

وهو يسير كان يسأل سكان هذه المدينة عن الطريق ولكن سكان هذه المدينة كان ينقصهم الشرف فكانوا يدعوا بأنهم يعرفون كل شيء وإنهم حكماء وكانوا لا يهتمون بأحد غير أنفسهم. فظلوا يعطوا إرشاد لهذا الإنسان الجميل وكانوا يضيعونه في المدينة عن هدفه الذي ينبغي الوصول إليه بإرشاداتهم المضلة.

نسى هذا الإنسان الجميل أن سيارته مزودة بجهاز ملاحة عظيم.

عيد سعيد لحلول الروح القدس

لا تخرج من بيتك في الصباح دون استدعائه وتصلي مزمور ٢٣ ولو تستطيع صلي صلاة الساعة الثالثة فهي صلاة  الروح القدس.

إن لم تستطع طوال أيام السنة، فعلى الأقل خلال صوم الرسل.

٣. يبدأ صوم الآباء الرسل يوم الاثنين ٢٤ يونيو

ابتداءً من يوم الأربعاء الموافق ٢٦ يونيو، سيضاف قداس من ١ – ٢:٣٠ظ، كل يوم أربعاء خلال صوم الرسل

٤. طلب من الآباء

لقد لاحظنا حالات يطلب فيها بعض أفراد الشعب من غيرهم من الشعب مساعدات مالية. إذا طلب منك أحد مساعدة مالية من فضلك لا تعطيه المال مباشرةً بل أرسله إلى أحد الآباء. هناك نظام لتقييم هذه الطلبات ومعرفة مدى صدقها ومدى المساعدة المطلوبة. شكراً لتفهمكم.

 

٥.  معسكر مبادرة سانت مارك الصحية

الزمان: ٥-٧ يوليو ٢٠٢٤

المكان: بيت الانترانس

من: أي فرد يرغب في إنقاص وزنه

هذه دعوة للانضمام إلى أعضاء الكنيسة الحريصون على إنقاص وزنهم، بتوجيه من متخصصين في مجال الصحة وخبراء ومدربين لتحسين الصحة العامة.

تنظم كنيسة سانت مارك لشعب الكنيسة هذه الفرصة الفريدة من الشركة معاً، لقضاء وقت قيم والاشتراك في أنشطة روحية وبدنية.

سيُقام قداس يوم الجمعة في الكنيسة، ثم يوم السبت في الكنيسة بالانترانس. سنصلي معاً يوم الأحد، سنرتل ونتشارك بعض تعاليم الكتاب المقدس. سنقيم صلاة باكر وغروب من الأجبية.

التكلفة ٥٠ دولار في الليلة وستشمل الانتقالات والإقامة ووجبات تساعد على إنقاص الوزن.

٩. تذكرة عن أماكن انتظار السيارات

يُرجى الانتباه إلى الإرشادات التالية:

• 1. تجنب ركن السيارات بجوار مداخل المنازل أو بجانب زوايا الشارع: تأكد دائماً من عدم سد أي مداخل/مخارج المنازل والامتناع عن الركن بالقرب من زوايا الشارع حيث يتم حجب الرؤية لغيرك من سائقي السيارات والمشاة.
  2. الوصول والمغادرة الهادئة: يُرجى التزام الهدوء على قدر الإمكان عند الوصول إلى الكنيسة وعند مغادرتها. سيساعد هذا الحرص على الاحتفاظ بهدوء وسلام منطقتنا.
  3. عدم الركن في Broe Avenue: يُرجى الحرص على عدم ركن السيارات في Broe Avenue مما يسبب اختناق مروري وهو أمر خطير.
  4. احترام الأماكن المحجوزة الخاصة بالجيران. قد يضع بعض الجيران صناديق القمامة أو غيرها لحجز أماكن لسياراتهم. ينبغي احترام احتياجاتهم ورغباتهم، يرجى عدم تحريك هذه العلامات وعدم الركن في الأماكن المحجوزة.
