1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message of the week by Father Michael:
We are all waiting for our salvation this coming Good Friday. What is the cost of this salvation to us?
Many characters in the Bible valued this salvation and paid a great price for it. Zacchaeus said "look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold". Luke 19.
He gave all for his salvation. The sinful woman was willing to become lamb before wolves (house full of Pharisees) to be torn into pieces. Not only that but also paid a huge amount of money on fragrant oil, for her salvation. This was the beginning of their relationship with the Lord. In turn, do we give God the beginning of our day? Do we give God our priority first? Do we give up on the things that take us away from God? Let us examine ourselves to see how much this salvation means to us.
Our Lord said ask, seek, and knock to find out how much we strive for our salvation. For if we take the example of Zacchaeus and the sinful women, we will hear our Lord saying " your faith have saved you. Go in peace ". Luke 7:50
2. Passion Week program

3. Child Minding during Passion Week
St Marks Church is pleased to advise we will be providing a child-minding service for our families this Passion Week.
Child Minding will be available for children 3yrs and over (no nappies) for the following times:
– 7.00pm – 9.00pm Monday to Thursday
– 10.00am – 5.00pm Good Friday (for 2-hour sessions)
Note: for toddlers under 3 years (including those in nappies), 1-hour sessions can be arranged. Please see the servants.
4. Lent Bible Study
The Week 7 Bible Study (Arabic only) is attached.
This is the last week of the Lent Bible Study. Please place answers for all 7 weeks in the specified box at Church. The due date is Sunday 1st May 2022.
5. Parents Meet and Greet event for Sunday School Year 7 and Year 8.
Join us this Sunday the 10th of April for our parents meet and greet event for Sunday School Year 7 and Year 8, at 10:45 – 12pm @ covered area behind the bookshop.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
6. Mother’s Day Stall – Saturday 9/4 and Sunday 10/4
Come and check out the Mother’s Day stall this weekend – undercover next to the canteen.
Note: All proceeds will go support “Women for Women”.

7. In the Shadow of the Cross – 7:30pm on Friday 15 April
Pope Athanasius family group invite you all to this special spiritual evening next Friday 15 April from 7:30pm.

١.الرسالة الروحية الأسبوعية
يقدم رسالة هذا الأسبوع قدس أبونا مايكل
ننتظر جميعاً خلاصنا يوم الجمعة العظيمة القادم. ما هي تكلفة هذا الخلاص علينا؟
كثير من الشخصيات في الكتاب المقدس قدّروا هذا الخلاص ودفعوا ثمناً باهظاً مقابل ذلك. قال زكا: "ها أنا يا رب، أعطي نصف أموالي للمساكين. وإن كنت قد وشيت بأحد أرد أربعة أضعاف ". لوقا ١٩
بذل كل ما عنده من أجل خلاصه.
كانت المرأة الخاطئة على استعداد لأن تصير حملًا أمام الذئاب (بيت مليء بالفريسيين) لتتمزق إرباً. ليس ذلك فقط، بل دفعت أيضًا مبلغًا كبيرًا من المال على زيت عطري، من أجل خلاصها.
كانت هذه بداية علاقتهم بالرب. وجاء دورنا، فهل نعطي الله بداية يومنا؟ هل نعطي الله الأولوية؟ هل نتخلى عن الأمور التي تبعدنا عن الله؟ فلنفحص أنفسنا لنرى إلى أي مدى يعني هذا الخلاص لنا.
قال ربنا اسأل، وأسعى، واقرع لنكتشف مدى جهادنا من أجل خلاصنا. لأننا إذا أخذنا مثال زكا والمرأة الخاطئة، فسوف نسمع ربنا يقول "إيمانك قد خلصك. اذهب بسلام ". لوقا ٧:٥٠

٣.رعاية الأطفال خلال أسبوع الآلام
يسر كنيسة مارمرقس أن تعلن عن تقديم خدمة رعاية الأطفال لعائلاتنا خلال أسبوع الآلام.
ستتوفر خدمة رعاية الأطفال من سن ٣ سنين وأكثر (لا يستخدمون الحفاضات) في الأوقات التالية:
– ٧:٠٠ – ٩:٠٠ مساءً من الاثنين إلى الخميس
– ١٠:٠٠ صباحاً – ٥:٠٠ عصراً يوم الجمعة العظيمة (لمدة ساعتين)
٤.مسابقة الكتاب المقدس خلال الصوم المقدس
مرفق دراسة الكتاب المقدس (عربي فقط) للأسبوع السابع
هذا هو الأسبوع الأخير لمسابقة درس الكتاب خلال الصوم الكبير. يُرجى وضع أجوبة ال ٧ أسابيع في الصندوق المحدد لها في الكنيسة. موعد التسليم ١ مايو ٢٠٢٢
٥.لقاءات الآباء والأمهات للتعارف للصف السابع والصف الثامن بفصول مدارس الأحد
شاركنا الأحد القادم الموافق ١٠ أبريل في لقاءات آباء وأمهات أطفال الصف السابع والصف الثامن من فصول مدارس الأحد للتعارف، من ١٠:٤٥ حتى ١٢ ظهراً عند المنطقة المغطاة خلف المكتبة.
