1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message for the week by Father David:
There is a clear contrast between the 55 days of Great Lent and the Holy 50 days immediately following our Lord’s Ressurection. Our church takes us on two journeys. In the Lenten gospels, the church takes us on a journey of discovery, by reminding us of stories of repentants, stories that highlight Christ’s mercy and compassion towards us, His children. One of the main underlying questions is, "Who is Jesus?".
Following Christ’s Resurrection, our church joyfully answers this question by taking us on another journey answering this very question by highlighting the "I Am"s. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and Life, He is the Light of the world, the Living water etc.
The most important question in all of this is what do YOU make of these two journeys?
Who is Jesus to YOU? What role does He play in YOUR personal life?
Christ is Risen! Indeed, He is Risen!
2. Church Cleaning Day – One week to go!
Please join us for the quarterly cleaning day on Saturday 28th of May 2022. The church is growing, and we need as many helping hands as possible.
We will start at 12pm after Sunday School, you can come for as long as you wish. God bless your service.
3. Kids Reading Groups
When: Every Friday 6:30 – 7:30pm during school term
Who: Kindy to Year 4
Where: Sunday School building upstairs
Cost: $5 per week (donation to St Wanas charity)

يقدم رسالة هذا الأسبوع قدس أبونا ديفيد
يوجد تناقض واضح بين أيام الصوم الكبير ال٥٥ وبين ال٥٠ يومًا المقدسة التالية التي تعقب قيامة السيد المسيح مباشرةً.
تأخذنا كنيستنا في رحلتين. الرحلة الأولى رحلة استكشافية، في أناجيل الصوم، تذكرنا بقصص التائبين، قصص تسلط الضوء على رحمة المسيح وحنانه علينا، نحن أبناءه. وأحد الأسئلة الأساسية "من هو يسوع؟".
بعد قيامة السيد المسيح، تجيب كنيستنا بفرح على هذا السؤال من خلال الرحلة الثانية التي تسلط الضوء على "أنا هو". يسوع هو الطريق والحق والحياة، هو نور العالم، هو الماء الحي، إلخ.
السؤال الأهم في كل هذا هو كيف تستفيد أنت من هاتين الرحلتين؟
من هو يسوع بالنسبة لك؟ ما هو الدور الذي يلعبه في حياتك الشخصية؟
المسيح قام! بالحقيقة قام!
٢.يوم تنظيف الكنيسة – باقي من الزمن أسبوع!
يرجى الانضمام إلينا في يوم التنظيف الفصلي للكنيسة يوم السبت الموافق ٢٨ مايو ٢٠٢٢. الكنيسة في نمو، ونحن بحاجة إلى أكبر عدد ممكن من الأيدي المساعدة.
سنبدأ الساعة 12 ظهرًا بعد مدارس الأحد، يمكنك الحضور لأي فترة من الوقت ترغب فيها. ربنا يبارك في خدمتكم.
